Yea, I know that by looking at the title it seems like its an oxymoron but I was wondering, whats a good amount of fat to be taking in whilst cutting? Reason I ask is tonight I have a Brewer's game I need to work so I bought a protein bar to have midway through, and yes I know that a protein bar isn't the best thing to have on a cut, but its the easiest thing to sneak in since they don't allow outside food. On top of that, before I leave I bought myself a Kashi Dinner to somewhat tide me over for a bit. All this adds up to around 12 grams of saturated fat, which is 60% of what your daily total is supposed to be. So is this ok, like as long as I stay within the daily limits; granted I know if I hit the daily limit for any nutrient besides protein, im not doing the cutting diet any good. Also with the dinner I have before the game, I'm going to have some green tea, probably like 2 glasses. Would that help in digesting the fat and not allow it to be stored?

pretty much if it's btw .2 and .3g ur fine.

and as far as the pitbull things. I'm very passionate about saving them and helping them out. They've been given a bad rap.

There's a place called Pawsitive Pitbulls that I'm friends with and they've done a lot of great work. Haven't really participated yet in any sort of demonstrations or outreach programs yet, but I try to get their name out there as much as possible and to help them reach more people so the message gets out.

Again thanks man. Didn't know if I was being counterproductive when try to cut; like I didn't know if I should keep it to an amount lower than that/have close to none.

And yea, I agree with the bad rap thing. That's some righteous stuff you're doing man; it's always terrible when you hear about how animals are mistreated due to ignorant people in this world and its great to know that there's good people out there willing to help them out. Let me know if there's ever a petition or something I could sign to help out.

Anything to help out animals in need. You see the stuff about that artist Guillermo Vargas who used a starving dog he found on the street as art? Sick what some people do in this world; someone needs to crack that ignorant f*ck's skull in.

yeah. that guy really needs to be castrated. he's one of the worst human beings ive ever seen in my life. Instead of saving that animal, he kills it essentially and makes an art exhibit out of it. He deserves whatever he gets

fat is extremely important on a cut. because when you eat fats with carbs the fat slows down the bolus entry into the small intestine which reduces the insulin response. so the only time you should be getting carbs without fat would be post workout

Really...

Huh. Maybe its just because my arms look a little more defined than they have in the past. If I had a picture of myself shirtless you may change your opinion; my stomach retains so much fat; then again, I'm rather self-conscious of my image.
Regardless, all the stuff I've learned about dieting, besides the little tidbits I've gotten from Men's Health, I've picked up from the dungeon.
