Due to common belief, this is false. The more meals eaten does not speed up your BMR (basal metabolic rate). However there are conflicting studies. If the metabolic rate is increased, the amount in which it happens in insignificant to the average, daily-active person.
Have a good 3-4 studies, if need be.
