It might be good, but i dont have full understanding of the various sugars and their effects.

Id suggest sticking with dextrose if you can get some. Maybe go out and buy some Gatorade mix.

Why is that? It has potassium, electrolytes, sodium, and is loaded with sugars, and the mix uses dextrose instead of high fructose corn syrup (which is in the pre-made stuff).

gatorade is more-so for the endurance runners and such, but I agree it could be used to combat loss of glycogen during working out during a bulk, but that's just my opininon

Yes it is loaded sugars, and yes it does have fructose that's primarily why I don't like it and the electrolytes are low imo. I just looked at the label and it has been improved because the first ingredient used to be high fructose corn syrup and now that is second on the list as a combination with glucose. Sucrose being first on the list. For pwo water is better and for endurance pedialyte is better. So to me it doesn't really have a place. That's just my opinion though.

Sucrose, Dextrose, Citric Acid, Salt, Sodium Citrate, Natural Orange Flavor with Other Natural Flavors, Monopotassium Phosphate, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Yellow 6.

Those are the ingredient i found online (im at a computer lab) for Gatorade Orange. Notice no fructose and no HFCS. Like i said, i advise and use the mix over the pre-made stuff.

Ok, with the premade drink there is hfcs and with the mix you get partially hydrogenated soybean oil. Choose your poison.

you could go for some white rice or some white bread. that'd end up being better for a quick digesting carb with an insulin spike
