Here is the thing. I’m looking to cut for MMA and for the summer-time as well. I’ve been told this is how your meals should go in the way of grams per amount of Carbs, Protein, and Fats. 1 to 2g of protein = 316g per day if I go middle of the road at 1.5g per lb. of bodyweight
1 to 2g of carbs = 316g per day if I go middle of the road as well at 1.5g per lb. of bodyweight
.2 to .3g of fat = 63.3g per day if I go .3g per lb. of bodyweight
25% of carbs in the morning
20% pre-workout
25% post-workout
30% spread out through rest of day
All complex carbs except after training. Then you use simple sugars.
The carb intake seems so high for cutting, and I’ve been told my protein intake is too high. So I ask around and I hear, you can’t drop your carb intake too low or you won’t get a peak performance in the gym or while doing cardio. What do I do? I am very confused at the moment. My main goal as of now, is to get to 10% Bodyfat for around the 3rd week of June. I am 6'2", 211lbs. at the moment. Someone please help! Thank you. |
