cooking does do away with some of the nutrients as well.

freezing isn't as bad as people think. it holds the most nutrients in other than raw

also, canned is no good. not as many nutrients

Well don't be angry but I went out and got 3 lbs of fresh spinach, some brocholli, long grain brown rice, more tuna, more water, some wheat germ, carrots, "old fashioned" oats, and lastly anothere 2 lbs of reduced-sodium turkey. I saw the label on it and it said "2 oz serving size, 15 g protein, 50 cal." Not bad I guess but now I have to get a scale and really measure out my portions.

Now I just have to portion the stuff all out. Can I get some help guys? It's 1020 and time for another meal, I've decided to have some brocholli and a packet of tuna but I wonder if that's enough carbs.

I've cut out my yogurts because I can't find any at the store w/o sugar. I don't eat any manufactured food basically.

Good luck EVER finding yogurt without sugar. I dont know why you are completely avoiding sugar though. You can get reduced-sugar stuff or all natural stuff that has lower amounts of sugar, but yogurt is really good for you imo and some manufactured sugar like Splenda isnt that bad for you.

I eat nonfat plain yogurt that doesn't have sugar... it's a bit sour, has a kind of tart flavor, so sometimes i add just a tiny bit of splenda. But usually i eat it as is. It still has some carbs, from lactose, but there's no avoiding those. I dunno if your dairy section would have it, but i buy it in huge tubs.

why are you trying to cut out all sugars and fats? Are you lifting weights at all? And fats help regulate hormones and also help your joints.

You go on some whacked out diets that i dont think you get from us. We have told you already that good fats are not bad.

How do you get Fat from Fruit.. is that a typo, god I hope so..

Your good fat sources should be but not limited to the following:

• Omega 3 capsules (i.e. fish oil capsules).
• Flax seed oil.
• Primrose oil.
• Borage oil.
• Olive oil.
• Nuts = almonds or (limit to 1 serving per day), peanut butter (as long as it does not contain hydrogenated oils).
• Egg yolks.
• Fish (salmon especially).
• All other fat should come as a by-product of your carbohydrate and protein intake.
