I'm preparing to go to the gym, get in some HIIT today, then I'll pick up a tub on NoExplode. I wanted to know if I should bother to take a post like I normally do after a weight-lifting session, or should I just be drinking a lot of water and forget the post after I'm done with my HIIT?

I'll still get in my two teaspoons throughout the day, but should I only do a post after a weight-lifting session... it sounds obvious I know, but I just want to make sure.

Layne recommends the shake post workout and before cardio, but it's up to you. If you feel like you're gonna vom, then might not be the best

Of course if you do vom you can always take another shake.

Well i'd do the pre 15 mins before the HIIT and the post, well, I've never even felt a little queezy doing posts, idk why they'd bother anyone.

Why would he recommend pres and posts just for cardio?

Alrighty but if I'm only doing cardio, why bother with noexplode... I'm not getting any pump from 40 mins on the stairclimber?

that's to keep your cycle going. if you take a day off of it during your cycle it could hurt you.

It'd just kinda mess with your receptors. If you're on a cycle you should be taking it everyday, even on off days. It's kinda like cycling creatine. It has to deal with the receptors.

Id suggest staying away from NO-Xplode immediately prior to your cardio. Maybe take it an hour or so from your cardio, that way you arent fighting a pump while you run but still benefit from the energy and focus. Why you have chosen to do HIIT on a stair stepper is beyond me, but that is ur deal not mine.

yeah, stair steppers are more for low intensity, but they can build some muscle too.

If you're doing HIIT stick with bikes, treadmills, or just running outside.
