well ive been thinking about this too and I think there is a way to know how much your body needs. Ive just started looking into it today so Ill let you know what I find. Im geussing there some average, like a multivitamin. They've figured you need 1000mg a day of vitimin C 1000mcg of vit A around 40 mg of most B's this sorta thing etc, so im sure there is one for amnios.

You could analyze protein turn over ratios in your own body. Protein synthesis vs. degradation over a period of time based upon different amounts of protein absorbed to find the ideal amount of protein you need to consume. This however, would consume a lot of time and resources.

I started looking into it because Id been reading so much about this n.o.explode and animal pac and I was thinking creatine is cheap..amnios are cheap ,caffine is cheap...I already have a tub of creatine do i need to buy this...I was also thinking i need something for duration and recovery so l arginine and glutimine...

Glutamine is only exerts effects upon skeletal muscle when administered via an IV drip.
Some form of arginine is always the back bone to any NO supplement. I prefer to take 5g of arginine ethyl ester before I workout. 500g of AEE is about 60 bucks, and will last you 100 servings.

Then the other day I realized I was geting about 24.2 g of glutamine in my pvl whey and 9.0 of arginine and it says 47.2% essential amino acids per 100 g of protein and there is 31 g in 1 scoop and im taking at least 3 a day so i should be coverd, that when I started thinkig about this.

Amino's are the building blocks of protein. When you eat 4oz of chicken breast, you consume about 22g of protein, of which can be broken down into its specific amino acid profile. Different protein sources have different AA profile (different amounts of each AA). If you are consuming adequate protein, then you are getting more than enough of your amino acids.
For a bed ridden individual, protein turn over is about 50g per day, and thus one would have to consume 50g of protein in the diet (some from animal sources).

I havent crossed refernced yet to check bcca's but i found Quest makes a amino complex with tons of everything plus all the bcca's for 13 bux for 100 and you only need to take two a day. I compared lots of amino's in differnet brands and there was lots for way more money lots that you had to take 4-6 a day to get the same dose..

The branched chain amino acid leucine appears to have some very promising effects on protein synthesis when consumed pre/post workout, and on an empty stomach. It appears to regulate the initiation (start) of protein synthesis.
Think of it as the foundation to building. Until the foundation is in place, nothing else can be built.
Amino acids, when isolated and taken on an empty stomach all have different pronounced effects on protein synthesis, hormonal, and neurotransmitter production. There's a lot of research to do, and I've just hit the tip of the
ice berg in mine.
