Cutting Diet Tips

Just started my first cutting diet trying to get ready for the summer. I lift 5 days a week and do cardio 4-5 times and play basketball on weekends. Just wanted some input on my diet which i feel could use some help.

8:30 - serving of Oatmeal (with milk), Whey Protein Shake, Multivitamin
11:30 - Grilled Chicken Breast, Brown Rice or 2 Bagles, handful of almonds
3:30 - Grilled Chicken Breast, fruit (either apple or banana)
5:00 - workout
6:30 (postworkout) - Whey protein shake
7:00 - Some sort of protein (turkey, chicken), sweet potatoe (or carbohydrates) 1/2 glass of milk
10:00 - 1 serving of cottage cheese

I also drink 1-1.5 gals of water a day.

Any tips appreciated.

you need some complex carbs before the workout
oatmeal is great
whole grain pasta
brown rice etc.

if you're cutting, i would cut out the bagel. and make sure that milk is skim milk.
