5 ibs of lean mass is mos def possible in two months, and believe it or not; 5 ibs of muscle in football can make all the world of difference no matter what position you play.
Stick to big simple lifts such as squats, deads, bench, cling and presses, clings, etc..Eat a lot of clean protein (lean beef, chicken breast, lean steak, egg whites, fish/tuna, etc..) and clean complex carbohydrates (oats, brown rice, sweet potatoes, etc..)
I'm not sure if your worried about speed or not, but speed kills in football so if you want to improve your speed; do alot of explosive plyometric exercises, wind sprints, run bleachers, run sprints with a weight sled or parachute. And make sure you train your core and train it hard, a good solid core can actually make a difference in your overall performance and your 40 time. I played football in college, so if you have any other questions man feel free to ask me, hope this helps |
