Has or does anyone eat things like oat meal or rice dry?

I sometimes seem to have a hard time eating this stuff once it is full of water and cooked, just the volume of it and other things along with it get me full before I am done.

I usually eat 1 cup at a time (dry), which becomes 1 1/2 - 2 cups once it is cooked. Anyone just ever spoon this stuff in and drink it down with something?

Good idea or bad idea?

I've eaten dry oatmeal, the website for quaker oats says its fine to eat it that way.

Eat until you're full, and over time just start adding in a spoonful here or a half a cup of beverage there and you're stomach will start to expand. It'll be able to take in more food and once your body begins to get more mass and muscle on it your body will crave more so you'll be able to eat more. It's a slow process, but it's worth it in the end.
