Okay I just started a cdk diet and I'm everything is going good aka I'm tired and groggy. I do have one problem. During the later portion of this week I have had constipation. I'm wondering if my system is just slow adjusting to the change or if this will continue to happen. I am drinking a lot of water (1.75 gallons a day). I am wondering if a fiber supplement might help. I'm not really sure about how many carbs it has because on the side of each fiber supplement it does not give the nutritional info but I would not supplement it every day. I also realize that fiber is a carbohydrate but I would be taking so little I do not think it would effect my ketosis. Any ideas?

Constipation is normal. You can try to get fiber supplements in and depending on how they work with you they'll get things moving. You can also try to get in dietary fiber in the form of green leafy vegetables, just check nutrition data for vegetables that have a good amount of fiber for the amount of total carbs. Dietary fiber usually isn't counted in, as the body can't properly digest it it really doesn't have a big effect on blood glucose levels.

Cosign with Rivera here. You need more fiber. It's going to help things go through faster and make sure that you're going to have regularity with your body.

Funny thing, I did some reading up on it one day, and basically if your poop floats, you're taking in enough fiber. Sooooooooo.... go for that haha.

I've had a few sinkers in my time I tell you what. Only thing for me is if I take fiber pills before I go to sleep I get explosive diarehea that can paint houses.
