Also keep your rep ranges btw 10 to 12. It'll help you keep more of the muslce you have when you start cutting. Some people go to 15, but to me that's just sort of a waste cuz there's more of a chance of losing muslce along with the fat that you plan on cutting.

I wasn't talking about changing up your workouts Frosty. I was talking about keeping the reps a lil higher, but not really above 12. If your normal is within 10 to 12, then that's cool. It just seemed to me that if you're going to cut, if u keep with the same weights and with a lil higher rep range, but not going too high (like 15 to 20 reps) then u might keep more muscle. There's always the chance of losing muscle when u cut.

Raul, you're not going to lose a lot of muscle. The only reason you would lose any would be because of either dieting wrong, doing WAY too much cardio, or for some other god awful reason. You'll be fine. You can take proteins while you cut. There's no reason to cycle off them or anything. In fact IMO they're even more helpful when you cut.

Protein is uber important during a cut. As well as careful carb consumption.

My normal rep range for many exercises is at or below 8 for everything but bi's, tri's, and sometimes traps.

As long as i can continue with the same intensity, i dont see why i should raise my rep range. Agree; disagree?

Obviously, im not trying to gain much muscle while doing a cut like this, as i dont intake the carbs necessary to build much, and my caloric intake is below maintenance. But, im just trying to keep what i have.
