Im trying a protein porridge soon, so if its any good ill edit it into this aswell.
Fruit Smoothie
Makes a great breakfast or snack. Add thicker yoghurt if you require more of a pudding. Put all ingredients in a blenderand whisk together.
125g of flavoured yoghurt
100-200ml of water, depending on how thick you want it
100g of frozen berries
1 x medium sized banana (118g)
1 x scoop of protein powder
2/3 cubes of
ice ( not needed if using frozen berries )
Protein = 33g Carbs = 62g Fat = 1g
Oat Cookies
Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a cookie tray.
Mix all dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately. Then combine. Form approximately 24 cookies and bake on the tray for 10-15 minutes until slightly browned.
1 cup oats
1 cup raisins
1 cup shredded coconut
1 scoop protein powder (vanilla flavour preferably)
2 egg whites
½ mixed crushed nuts
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 banana, mashed
1 tbsp honey or sugar free maple syrup
Makes about 24 cookies
Per cookie - Protein = 15g Carbs = 43g fat = 2g
Breakfast bars
Pre-heat oven to 130*c. Warm the condensed milk in a saucepan, Mix all other ingrediants together then add warmed milk and mix.
Then press into a tin and bake for 1 hour. Remove from oven after an hour and leave for 15 mins before cutting into bar shapes. Then let cool completely.
1 x 297g can of condensed milk
250g rolled oats
75g coconut
100g dried cranberries or raisons (i'd go with raisons)
125g mixed seeds
125g chopped nuts
