You can do a 48 hour carb load and it won't mess you up much, but it will take longer to go into full ketosis (where you'r brain only needs 40 grams of glucose to operate). For people on CKD or doing carb loads weekly to restore glycogen levels it takes longer to go into full ketosis.

How much do you weigh? For my carb load I do a 4.5 per a gram of lean body weight for the first 24 hours, then half of that for the next day. Then back to keto dieting.
