iam going to start myfirst cutting diet feb.1. til then i am trying to figure out how to do it. snapper suggested a site that was great and i came up with this for my weight( stats-5'10/ 245 will find out BF% and metabolic rate later this month: if i had to guess19-22%)looking to cut 20lbs in 20 weeks if its possible.

40/40/20 p/c/f
daily cal-2940
pro-294g
carb-294g
fat-65g

ive been trying it today it doesnt seem real hard(although i feel HUNGRY all day LOL) does it matter what kind of carb or just go with the total carb amount on the back of the box. i found a good nutritional data site that tells me the stuff that doesnt have labels eg-fruits. thanks in advance for your help guys. there are alot of you who know way more than i imagined was invloved in this

20 lbs in 20 weeks is not unrealistic. 1-2 lbs per week is a good plan and won't result in alot of muscle loss.

read the sticky about precontest dieting in the nutrition section. it is great about the cut diet.A Unique Combination of Science and Experienced Pre-Contest Advice by Layne Norton

^Yeah bro, read Layne's Pre-Contest advice. Everything you most likely need to know is in there. Apply what he says to form your own diet.
