hey bro , im doin the same thing. i have found (and been told) the way to cut down is vey specific to each person. there is a sticky on the board about pre-contest cutting which still applies to us. it gives a good break down also there is a site that u can go to and put your stas in and it will give you a good starting place im doing 40/40/20 (pro/carb/fat) but ive been told i need to tweak my carbs they are too high. i have started logging EVERYTHING i put in my mouth. im not positive but i dont think your getting enough cal, pro. your boby is gonna think its starving and your metabolism is going to slow down further to protect itself. dont cut more than 500 off what your body needs to remain in homeostasis as you cut that # will change. im a novice at this so i hope our BB brothers will correct if i have given bad advice. you might want to PM jakevandetta or some of the VIP members they are VERY knowledgable. good luck post your progress. i will maninly to get critique lol

You'll burn twice as many calories running the treadmill than riding a bike.

Great post by FFBULLDOG - I think he's onto it. there are some great posts about diet in the training log section. Try one out & see how it goes. Start your own thread - with your diet & workout listed - you'll get lots of feed back.

Good luck, bro.

Agree with FFBulldog, you need to start logging everything you eat for a few weeks. After a while you'll start to find what works best for you. A few things to help us help you, first calculate youre Cals/pro/carbs/fat and post that. If youre having problems check out Fitday.com. What you have there to me seems like a diet that you wont be able to stick to very long because of the lack of variety. I think if you read Laynes Sticky post he has samples of things you could eat. A few tips are to spice things up dont be afraid to use diffrent seasonings on your chicken. Also eat red meat i dont care what people say. Get ground beef boil it and rinse it, sweat some onions and peppers and add some seasoning to the beef and thats a descent meal. Try lean cuts of beef also, and eat them with vegies. Avoid High GI carbs during the day. Get most of youre carbs in the morning/preworkout, post workout, and post post workout it will depend on when you workout what times you should eat carbs. Post workout try a mixture of high and moderate GI carbs. Morning meal looks ok, you could try grinding up oatmeal for some variety i think it tastes pretty good with chocolate protein. Your meal timings are good you just need to make sure you're geting enough protein, anywhere from 1.2-1.4g/lb during a cut. Fat is youre friend when cutting, get some oils i like EV coconut oil, fish oil, and olive oil. Fat has a higher thermic response then protein and carbs and while also less chance of it being stored in adipocytes(fat cells). Avoid fat with High GI carbs, because when youre insulin is spiked youre body tends to store excess energy in adipocytes. In fact i would stay at the lower end of the GI throughout the rest of youre meals except postworkout. Just keep consistant, and every month or so try other things if youre not seeing results, while keeping track so you can find what works best for you. We can give you hints and tips all day but in the end its all on you, so just read and learn as much as you can and keep at it.
