I just completed my late workout [630 pm-710, then 710-730 cardio] doing back, traps and lats. I took my creatine in water solution [Thanks, no juice. It didn't taste like anything, surprisingly.], then 1 cup of water when I got home.

I know I should wait about 30 mins before I take another minimeal after working out. What do you suggest? I have all the healthy stuff in the fridge, broccoli, carrots, sliced chicken, whole grain bread, milk, even whey powder [though I normally take that once in the late morning with a minimeal, and then another one before I go to bed, the last thing I consume].

Thank you!

Whole grain rice with chicken. Simple yet effective carb/protien hit, will work well with your creatine to sustain and enhance a state of constant anabolic activity.

Cosign
6 in grill chick on wheat from subway is also almost the perfect post w/o meal but maybe not so late.
But even before that within 30 mins of working out you really need some kind of protein shake.IMO

Ok, I'm starting to take my ON shake 1 hr before my workout, and the other right after workout, when I'm changing in the locker room.

I should still wait 1 hr after eating my minimeal and shake before going to workout, right?

I've found that I have great recovery when I take my pre-workout shake within 10-20 mins before I workout. I have never had a problem this way. I Know whey takes around 30min to be absorbed but I have had good results this way.
