Hello,

Lets say I am wanting to increase my calories to gain more weight and I have increased my calories. But my calories are mostly from cabs and fat and not from protien. Would that still contribute to me gaining more muscle or would it just be a waste and I would just be gaining more fat?
(I know that muscle = protein but I wondering what would happen in the case I stated above)

It would help you gain if you were geting enough protein to begin with (1 g/bw *bodyweight in pounds*)
