Everyone knows that fresh or frozen veges are the best for you, steer clear of the canned stuff..
Well I buy the Steam Fresh veges in the bag, I cut the bag open when they are thawed out and take zip lock bags and portion out 1 cup per bag. Put them in a container and place them back in the fridge.
This way I can simply throw them in my lunch bag when I need them or have them quickly with my protein meal in about 30 seconds.
Typically I portion out most everything, from veges, to salmon to low sodium deli sliced turkey. Just about eveything can be portioned. This makes it alot easier to grab and go.
