do any of you put olive oil into your protein shakes. If you do what does it taste like, i don't think i want to try it until i get someone elses opinion. Just in case they think its disgusting,

The thing with olive oil is you HAVE to make sure it is extra light olive oil. I drink it straight from a tablespoon so I'm sure it would be fine in a shake.

I always use Extra Virgin to cook with. I stuck my finger in it and tasted it straight just now. Its not real bad. A little wangy, but it wouldnt bother me to have a teaspoon straight. I dont think I would even taste it much if it was mixed up in a shake.

Try extra light and then try extra virgin. Like night and day....

Virgin olive oil is olive oil that is extracted by machine with no chemicals, extra virgin means that its tested out by people for top quality and flavor.

Light, extra light, these are combinations of different types of olive oils with other products sometimes for a better taste.

I think its fine in the protein shake, however its alot easier to just swallow down with some water. If you don't like the flavor its a quicker, failsafe way to get it down.

I put straight up EVOO into my protein shake. Just 1 serving or so, smooths it out I think.
