Would it be fine to throw this into my shake? It's horrible on its own.

Whenever you get time post it up. But let me know how long it takes to make because I usually like to keep it under 15 mins.

Ingredients:

1 1/4 C. whole wheat flour
3/4 C. Quick Oats
1/4 C. Flax Seeds
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2-3 egg whites depending on size of egg
2 C. buttermilk ( use 2% cause buttermilk is really bad for you but tastes better with the butter milk)
1/4 C. brown sugar
1/4 C. butter, melted ( again I use margarine or just less butter)
1 tsp. vanilla
optional fruit: bananas, blueberries, apples, raisins, dates

Directions:

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl
Combine wet ingredients except egg whites in smaller bowl.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients.
Whip egg whites until stiff. Fold into batter.
Add fruit if using.
