Hey guys, I dont know if its jut me or not but do you ever get the munchies at night? Sometimes I just get hungry at random times and im trying to cut and Im wondering what foods would be low enough in calories but something I can snack on....... Thanks

by night time I mean like 3 am lol. some nights I just cant sleep and just get the munchies but I stop myself from eating and then I end up not sleeping. I used to eat then id fall asleep and I know thats the best way to pack on those thunder thighs lol

Thats not good bro. ANyone would get the munchies from staying up like that. Your body is going to get hungry just like you would during the day. Usually you are fasting while you sleep. If your not able to sleep you are going to become hungry. You need to figure out why you arent able to sleep. You need to get proper sleep or your just doing yourself harm. Seek professional help if you need to but try to get this straightened out.
I dunno what to tell you to eat to satisfy hunger from not sleeping. Thats not really a normal thing to do. I guess you could take a little protein and fill up on water. Ide try to get that sleeping under control so you wont have this problem

First off how old are you.. I will claim ignorance on that one my appologies. Do you work, what are your hours that you work. Do you party, stay out late and wake late in the day..

right now im currently 17, I do work, and I DO party lol, I usually work mon, tue, wed from 4 to 10, sat and sunday till 11. I go to classes from 730 am until 315 mon wed fri, tue and thursday, i have only one class from 12 to 130. that day I try and do a double session workout. One session at 8, the other at 2. Mon Wed Fri, I have a break from 930 to 1130 which is when I spend my time at the gym. I'm currently cutting and my split is as follows.

Monday- Legs, biceps
Tuesday- Chest, abs
Wed- off
Thursday- Back, abs
Friday- Shoulders, tricepts
Saturday- Cardio

unless your baulking you really dont want to be eating in the middle of the night. try supplementing with melatonin it will help you sleep big time!!!!! I suffer from insomnia I have prescription meds to sleep but I dont take them. melatonin works great I take 2mg a night. also you will have really vivid dreams. however you will wake up a little groggy but thats better then not sleeping. ZMA also works great for sleep and has some anabolic property's

^second cook on the melatonin.... it worked wonders for me. If your going to stay up later and sleep later just adjust your eating schedule on those days. If you have an unpredictable schedule and you have trouble sleeping... eat, its better then allowing your body to become catabolic. Just eat smart.

thanks guys, its just been some stress lately you know? second semester is coming around the corner and so are the bills, relationship is kinda rocky, and im just trying to put every thing together.

it works for a while, i got to the point where melatonin, would put me to sleep, but i would wake up 2 hours later. and i was back in the same situation , only later. but thats just my experience- 42gunz

yeah, its not something i would use constantly, maybe try a gaba/melatonin combo. Anyone here ever try L-dopa as a sleep aid?
