Hey
So i've been wondering what a Ketosis Diet plan looks like..
i did a search for it but didn't see anything-maybe im just dumb and didn't look hard enough
But im just wondering how you get the fat and protein intake without the carbs..

A standard ketosis is like this for someone who weighs 170 pounds and is taking in 2500 calories a day.

Protein intake: At least 150, or .9 grams per a pound (Whichever one is higher) So say 600 calories.

Carb intake: As low as possible, but at least below 30 grams. At most 120 caloires.

Fat intake: Make up the remainder of the caloires to determine if you want to lose or mantain weight during the week. Remainder of the rest of the calories to mantain weight 198 grams of fat.

It's a good diet to cut on. Even though fat intake is raised really high you want to resist the urge to intake alot of extra protein, the extra protein can be broken down into glucose, the glucose can change the bodies dependency on ketones for energy.

To come out of ketosis you would want to gradually add 20-40 more carbs a day while lowering fat intake. The body becomes sensitive to carbs after extended bouts of ketosis and you can experience high blood sugar if you do rush back into carbs.

It's also not the best diet to train on. You will practicallly have no energy for heavy lifting because your glucose stores would be very lower.
