Check out Layne's precontest primer (sticky) in the nutrition section. It is long, yes, but covers every question you could possible have.

Cool, thats good stuff. I almost started in Industrial Engineering (along the same lines) but then I realized Chemical Engineers make 100x's more money. But this stuff is not easy. Good luck with your degree.

Engineering is where it is at. My first job offer I recieved was for 70k+ a year... with only a 4 yr degree. Got to love that.

Engineering is where its at. Engineers rule the world. Right now I am taking the math courses on the side of nursing so when I get done with nursing I want to go into biomedical engineering. It will be rough but I will go in having the chem, physics, biology, and engineering math, ba in business admin and bsn in nursing. Trying to cut my learning curve as much as possible and allow myself to take the lowest course load.

What do you think about biomedical engineering Wall?

Biomedical engineers make my chairs and seats very comfortable... haha

Biomedical Engineers is a good field, I have a buddy who is doing biomed and a minor in nano-technology because he is going to work with a company who inserts nano scale "readers" into a human body to come up with a diagnosis.

Plus you can be a doctors/vet/nurse/RN , anything medically related.
