1 - 1/2-1 cup of milk in the morning before I run off to school. (4 protein, 6 carbs)
2- Protein shake (24 protein, 4 carbs)
3- Protein Shake (24 protein, 4 carbs)
4- Protein shake (24 protein, 4 carbs)
5- Tuna (32.5 protein)
6- Whatever meat is made at my house (30+ protein)
7- Tuna (32.5 protein)
8- Tuna + peanutbutter (35.5 grams protein, 3.5 grams carbs).

Protein: 206.5
Carbs: 21.5

This is basically my diet as of late. It's not like this everyday, I do carry around packs of peanuts with me that I pick through when I have protein shakes. I've also started to get in more fats via olive oil. This is what my diet looks like on tuesdays and thursdays mostly. I just got my stawberry whey protein, so I will be getting in half the amount of carbs for every protein shake.

I'm also going to start learning how to actually cook for myself so taht I can prepare meat for the next day. On days that I don't have school, i'll have eggs in place of two of the protein shakes.

In terms of cooking, I was thinking that I would get like london broil or top cuts of steak and such, cut them into small pieces, marinate them with pepper, salt and hotsauce and cook them.

Try to diversify so you have more than tuna and protein shakes. Chicken breasts, turkey, round steak.

Yeah, thats what i'm going to do, I just don't know how to cook yet, and in my personal situation having my mom or dad cook is out of the question.

Round steak:

Put some smart balance oil in a pan.
Put the steak in a pan
Turn on the burner to med-light flame. Put a cover on it if available for a better cook.

Flip it over every now and then and make sure you have plenty of oil in the pan so you don't scorch the pan and mess up your meat. I just spray in a little water if needed.

After 10 mins cut the piece down the middle and see if it is done or cook how you like it.

Rinse the meat off (I like to just to get all the loose meat/fat off)

Eat

Try it out and see how you do. Just like everything else it takes a little practice but you will soon get the hang of it.

Chicken:

Bowl a pot of water (put the top on while boiling the water to decrease time to boil and increase effecieincy). Wait for water to boil.

Place the chicken breast in the pot.

Check in 10-15 minutes. Take a piece out and cut it. If it is pink you need to cook it longer. If it is white it is done.

Rinse the meat off (I like to just to get all the loose meat/fat off)

That's it.

Turkey is the same process as round steak just make sure it is NOT pink.

Give them a try. If you run into anything I'm sure there are plenty of people here to help you out.

Anymore I only like the taste of grilled meat about once every 2 months. George Foreman's are good but bulky and take up a lot of space. I was just going by what most people have assuming he didn't have one since he didn't mention it. Might be something for you to look into Thomas.

Absolutly. I love my forman. Its easy to use and really helps out when im off at college. Plus it can cook realatively fast. You just put w/e in there and come back in about 10mins and its ready to go! No tallent even needed. But the first few times you use it you need to pay attention otherwise you may over cook your meat. Will take a few times to get used to the speed. But i really do suggest it.

I love protein as much as the next guy, but you got to throw in some veggies here and there. Probably just basic greens, trace carbs and high in vitamins. This way you don't kill your intestines with straight up protein. Plus, that much liquid protein during the day is not all that great back to back to back. I drink 3-4 shakes a day at about 70g protein, but pre/post workout and before bed. To much liquid diet will lead to digestion problems in your future, just an idea.. Other than that, if you can eat that much tuna and if you love mercury thats fine by me :)

Good suggestions Wall. I agree everything in moderation but the only people who need to be really concerned with mercury intake is pregnant mothers.

Do you already have your bachelor's in engineering and working on a double master's?

Thanks for all the tips guys.

I actually just bowed out of my ketosis plan until I finish these books. I was eating too much protein, actually keeping me on the edge of being in and being out of ketosis. I always heard of my dad telling me how protein raises sugar in the blood, and I never knew to what extent.
