it all depends on how serious you have all those things in check, and what your starting from. But if your just starting out, and your eating excess clean calories, and training heavy and intense, id say an easy 2 months.

There is no exact way to determine it. But if you had to give yourself enough time to gain 15 lbs of LEAN mass and limit your fat, you should gain no more than 1-2 lbs per week.

therefore, somewhere around 2.5-4 months.

If it is your first serious bulk 6 months. maybe. It's hard to really put a definite time on it. Guys he is talking LEAN mass not weight. You got the idea justlift.

Canon don't let our arbitrary estimates phase you just move forward and work hard everyday and you will see results.

kind of agree with this. If your talking overall weight then i believe this to be ok. however, if your talking solid muscle (lean muscle) then it could be a lot longer because if your gaining 1-2lbs a week it is definately not just pure muscle

he just said estimate he never gave any true details to the situation. I believe someone who has not been eating right, training right, etc. could gain lbm alot faster then someone who has been for a while, there is a kines law for this but i cant remember what it is.

yes bro, but what were saying is that even if you gain lean mass optimally, and its the first time you have ever bulked you will not be able to do it in under 4 months.

there is a difference between lean mass and weight. yes weightwise he shouldnt put on more than 1-2 lbs per week. this being said those 1 to 2 lbs includes, fat and muscle gained during the week. when i speak of lean body mass, we talk solely about muscle building. therefore it is physically impossible, as a natty and most likely using AAS as well to gain 1-2 lean mass in a week.

i agree with freak also in that you should not put a number of lbs/ lean mass you want to gain bro.

i do think, however, that it is a great idea to set a goal weight. and hit it by gaining slowly, and steadily throughout your bulk.

i agree with you all, it is hard to put a time on lbm gains. I think being goal oriented in bodybuilding is a great tool for motivation and a self esteem boost. My second post was just suggestiong that it would be alot easier for someone to add 15 lbs lbm if they havent had any ideal experience with it, and he wanted an answer for a question that lacked vital information.

^ok no prob bro. yes i do agree with you its easier for someone who hasnt bulked to see a result for the first couple of weeks. it has to do with your body absorbing all the food you are taking in. it is the same principal as one a person starts bb'ing for the first time. there numbers on the weights my blow up when they get serious, but it will taper off as time progresses.
