Hey guys, is a Nutri-Grain Bar a good snack to have in between meals, if you dont have like a protein bar or something>> Any thoughts?

If you are traveling and have to choose to be catabolic or eat a Nutri-grain bar then eat the bar but otherwise choose something else.

Can of tuna fish is only 75 cents and extremly low fat :)

I would suggest turkey jerkey, or lean beef jerky that has low fat content.

yeah but ^ you just named 3 of the highest sodium containing products out there lol.But if youre not trying to get shredded they would be ok choices

Nutri-grain bars are very low in protein and fiber. They have a lot of fast digesting carbs. I consider them a pretty poor choice. Remember that its very important to get protein at every meal. You'd be better off getting a protein bar with a low amount of net carbs.
