I'm sure that this is probably a repost, but here it goes anyways.

How do you find out how many calories are needed to maintain weight?

I know that i need about 1-1.5g of protein. I've been doing very lousy lately trying to put on weight and I think that I might not be getting enough calories. I also think that i did a mini-cut without trying to because i've been getting plenty of protein and i kept my strength up but i lost a few lbs.

thanks for the site rippd

the site said i need about 2600 calories per day. i put that i do 30-60 mins of exercise per day, but calorie intake is different if you're doing weight lifting and cardio. i don't do a lot of cardio. most of my exercise comes from weight lifting.

so would u say 2600 is an accurate amount of calories at 137 lbs?

yes that's to maintain your weight. i'd actually factor in about 500-1000 more depending on your level of activity. the more vigorous the higher the calorie intake to maintain. when i ran track i had to take in about 3500-4000 calories to maintain 160lbs
