Make your own Protein bars, here's how.

200g Oats
100g Low fat peanut butter
150g Honey
Two scoops of your favorite protein powder

( Just no MUSCLETECH schite OKKKKKK) lol.. I had to...

Heat the honey and peanut butter over a low heat for about five minutes or in a microwave on full heat for two mins' then mix in the oats and protein powder ( use your hands if possible and squeeze it all together ) then flatten it all out on a baking tray with some grease proof paper on it making a square shape then in the fridge for about 30 min to 1 hour then take it out
and slice it into about 12 bars.

You will get about:
* 12g to 15g of protein
* 10g of carbs
* 4g of fat per bar
* And they taste great : )

Now obvisouly you can up the protein and add some dried fruit if you like. And why not., Make the ahead of time, kick them up a notch and have them when on the go

Chris

Keep them in zip lock bags, because air kills food and keep them in the fridge.. Will last a while.. Unless you need to perfect your cooking skills.

Mine don't last long, I eat them. That's the point of making them to eat them.

oh, well that will work also,, I was gearing this towards you college guys anyways. All the threads about going off to college, hmmm got me thinking about how to help you guys out..

Make a big batch of it, using a good portion on sizing the ingredients and have at it..

Keep pumping bro.

Chris

i'm not too sure about this fact, but doesn't whey protein denature at heat levels above 40degrees c? surely when you bake them the protein will become useless. just asking?
