Your body can absorb about 50 gms of protein at a time and about every 2 hrs.Anything more than that is most likely just pissed out.

It depends on the quality and biological value of the protein, too. Like whey protein isolate can be absorb up to 90 to 99%. But soy protein can only be absorb to like 80-90%. And Casein, I think that is around 70%
Yah i heard the same thing. I am currenly doing two scoops of 27 grams which is 54g. this seems a lot but i keep in mind that not every single abount of protein is absorbed. My buddy told me however that anything more than 30 grams is converted to fat and pissed out. im gonna stick to two scoops however.
after my workouts i'll take 2.5 scoops of protein... thats ~64g of protein per serving...
i read somewhere that if you're trying to cut bodyfat, then a higher intake of protein is required. it doesn't cause insulin spikes and utilizes your fat stores for energy during metabolization.
in my main meals i try to get 40-50g in each meal...
