Hey guys, I was wondering how many calories I should be aiming for to bulk. I weigh about 130 pounds right now.

It is calories I shuold mainly be concerned about when bulking, right?

What foods are good for bulking? For example I don't want to eat a load of shit like McDonalds, I want to bulk healthy!

Is sugar good? Any help would be appreciated, basically can you list good foods high in protein and calories? Many Thanks,

From Alex :)

since u only weight 130, 2200-2500 calories a day should be enough for bulking for a while

Good foods are:
Protein: round steak, salmon, tuna, chicken breast, turkey, milk, and whey protein.
Carbs: oatmeal, sweet potatoes, whole grain pasta, brown rice, fruits.
Fat: Olive oil, unsalted almonds, flax seed oil.

like an example can be;
Meal 1
-4 egg whites(no yoke)
- 1/2 cup of oatmeal(frozen berries)
-fish oil
Meal 2
-1 chicken breast
-1 brocolli
Meal 3
- hand full of almonds
-tuna
PROTEIN SHAKE PRE AND POST WORKOUT
Meal 5:
-4 egg whites
- fish oil

It depends on how much you eat already. If you eat 2000 calories a day to mantain weight , then you need 2500 a day to add around a pound a week, and 3000 calories a day to add 2 pounds a week.

Your going to want to get more calories from protein and carbs andnot get in too much extra fat. Tuna fish in water, egg whites, both prime choices for protein without much fat.

For your post workout meal you'll want a simple sugar, pure fruit juice, a couple of rice cakes depending on how many carbs you want to take in. Don't take anything fatty POST workout.
