Are all the extra suppliments essential? I mean, Id say i make pretty fast gains, and all i supplement is Whey protein, flax and a multivitamin/mineral...

Everyone talks about Creatine mono, BCAA's, and caseine... but could all that just be a waste of money if you are making steady gains strength AND size wise? im not impatient... if im making steady gains as it is i see no reason to grow any faster.

if your making steady gains, keep on doing what your doing. however, casein, bcaa's and creatine are great additions to any supplementation program.

casein is particularly good because it provides your body with protein source for nearly 6 hours. that allows you to sleep through the night and not be waking up to eat. and sleeping through also allows your sleep to be uninterrupted, and the time when you grow is when you sleep!!!

I would say its essential but like Justlift said if its not brole dont fix it. When you do plateu though try and take them all before and after a workout exept for the casein, take that before bed. The reason why those supplements are a platform of supplements is because your body will no doubt use your natrual store of creatine, aminos, and carbs and protein during your exercise for fuel and other functions. By releniching the boody with these resources, the body wont have to look for other sources. Just an exampl the body also uses creatine after a workout to support you immune system. So imagine if your onlu took in .5 g of creatine a day.

understandable mate hah!

Dont you get the amino acids from the Whey Protein... i mean isnt that what proteins are... all the essential and non essential amino acids? But yeah, dont you have to load with creatine before it starts actually working? I honestly dont know if my budget can handle that :P

You are right. You do get alot of the aminos from the whey protein but your body can always use more ecspecialy like BCAA which is very hard to come by from food.

Creatine I know it says to load and I would recomend it but back in the day I never loaded because I didnt have th money to do so. This is when creatine mono was like 40 bucks a pop. And I still saw great results.

Totaly understandable about the money. What I would recomend is getting these supplements when the budget permitts instead of jumping on NO XPLODE or something like that. I would say that you can get all the products you need for aroun 40 to 50 dollars a month exept for the protein. Shop around. You can still get whey for under 30 dollars. For quality get Optimum.

Oh snap bro. lol I didnt see that you are in Aus. I wouldnt know about prices over there. I do know that the woman ratio is 3 to every man. Nice.......

Good luck bro but what your doing seems to be working so dont change it until you hit a plateu and you have tried changing your workouts up.
