Flex is to bodybuilding information as the hokey pokey is to modern dance. Flex isn't a reliable source to get information from at all. They will also tell you that you need to cycle water intake for a competition.
What is the chance that a bodybuilder won't have something of a complex carb? Sure its a possibility, but its not a good one. They would need to include some sort of scale to give you an idea for how long it takes a simple carb to digest with however much fat at any rate.
If someone were to eat a healthy fat with a simple sugar, how much fat to sugar? They exclude vital information like this.
