preworkout oats ?

hey guys

i just wanted 2 know wats good to eat before a work out.

i was thinking oats or something like that
is it best to go for complex carbs like an hour b4 your workout.

also i heard that its good to eat a banana for simple carbs prior to a work out.

wat do u guys suggest ?

You want to eat it 3-4 hours before your workout. Fruit, oats, brown rice are all good choices.

but i work out in the morning at about 10

i would have 2 wake up at around 7 to eat 3 hrs early, and i cant really work out in the arvos coz i have work and stuff

anything else i can do freak ?

I eat 3 peices of wheat bread and some hummace. < think thats how you spell it. And I down a protein shake.

Be careful using the word insulin spike. A spike would be a large increase and then an instant drop off. So 50g of complex carbs will not "spike" your insulin but it will raise it.

1 slice of wheat bread has 14g carbs. I train a 5:30 am and eat at 4:00 when i wake up
