I wouldn't call it a lie. Pregnant or lactating mothers are the only ones who need to be seriously concerned/abstain from use. Everything in moderation. Min. 1 gallon/day.

I agree freak,, the amount of mercury in tuna can be too much if a pregnant or lactating mom consume. It's too much for the baby or fetus to take in.

I consume at least 1 can a day, Of albacore solid white tuna in water. I also drink 160 ounces of water daily.

My drive to work I drink 32, at work 96 and on the way home another 32, totaly 160 for the day.

And you can die from drinking too much water. But only if you do not pass it,, i.e urinate.. A women died from drinking to much water at a radio station several months ago. Trying to win an XBOX or something like that. The contest was to consume it but not go to the bathroom. She died and the jockies all got fired for it.

And I kind of like the idea of tuna turning you a little crazy from time to time. Women have PMS, kids have childhood temper tantrums, men have tuna fish.

this whole mercury in tuna is a lie, just dont eat the outdated tuna, then i think you'll die. also if you're eating the tuna go for the light tuna, not regular, less mercury content...you can over hydrate though drinking too much water and you'll get headaches and such, never had it happen nor know the consequences of it, but also in that same category is drinking too much gatorade...
