i got a question guys and girls. should i buy whey protein or weight gainer. i say weight gainer bcus i already have muscle milk for protein, and i barely get enough calories for my target weight 160 (im 144 lbs right now) so yea.... which one?? ALSO, who here uses gloves when they work out??

o yea forget, the reason i barely get enough calories is bcus i only get 10$ a day for food

make sure you get a weight gainer with sufficient protein and not to high in fat. that would be alright.

also make sure that if you are way short on your intake, that you dont consume the rest of the calories in one shake. perhaps split it into multiple shakes.

thay way your hitting your caloric goals and still getting 6-8 meals in

I don't believe in weight gainers. I know some guys on here like cytogainer but I have not tried it.

Weight gainers are simply expensive food, it should be no problem for you to eat enough food to get to 160lbs. Most people on weight gainers become to dependent on them instead of eating real food. + most weight gainers are a bunch of crap and high in sugar.

weight gainers are a quick way to reach a target goal, but make sure all of your calories are not just from the shakes, make sure you eat...divy up your meals from 3-5....morning breakfast, snack, mid lunch, snack, dinner... that way your preventing yourself from feeling hungry while your still reaching your calories by say 9:00-10:00 pm...drink plenty of water while your mass gaining as well, does a number on your kidneys

i used one... really liked the results, but after a while on that i changed to whey and carboplex... carbs and proteins separate...

i would say screw weight gainer it is loaded with sugar and will only make you pack on fat and alittle muscle all on them calories in one sitting theres bound to be some energy stored in your body i would suggest whey gold our xyience protein and to reach your calorie goals eat a couple good old scoops of natural peanut butter + the monosaturated fat in it will boost the test levels in your body and cause more muscle growth
