Is this an ok preworkout meal..?

1 hour prior to training is an apple, non fat yogurt and a scoop of whey in milk.

15 mins prior to workout will be 2.5 grams of creatine monhydrate mixed in no added sugar natural grape juice.

I would say no. Don't drink milk with whey, it's kinda counterproductive since your mixing a fast acting protein with a slow digesting one.

And don't drink grape juice before you workout, you'll cause an insuline spike that will get you a drop in energy.

Just drink the creatine without any juice. Creatine works when your muscles are saturated with it. You don't need to drink juice every time with it.

I would say yes. It's not gonna hurt you tremendously to do it. But you'r wanting to use the whey because it digests fast and caseine digests slow and causes other proteins to digest slow along with it.

Pure fruit juice would be better for post workout. Any other time when your not trying to quickly shuttle protein in, milk and whey is fine.

The best thing to mix with water is the fruit punch flavored protein. I used vanilla protein powder and water for months before switching to fruitpunch. Fruitpunch also goes a little better with a fruit juice.
