yes yogurt is good for you because it contains live yogurt cultures and protein. and yes it can be high in fat however depending on your dietary needs that can be a good thing. Also they do sell fat free yogurt......I like me some yogurt with granola and fresh berries..delicious!!!!!

I love yogurt & cottage cheese (1%).

I think that they are both good sources of protein, low in fat & I like the cultures - I think they are supposed to help your immune system.

The yogurt that I get, is lowfat - no sugar added. The profile per serving is like 1g fat (.5g sat) 22g carb (3g fiber) and 9g protein.

My nutritionist has instructed me to eliminate dairy as much as I can. Now let's see, I usually eat at least one yogurt per day, 1 cup of cottage cheese per day & about 1/2 gallon of non-fat milk every two days.

I hate my nutritionist. LOL

What's the deal with dairy anyway, I was told that it makes you skin thick and hide definition? Truth or bullshit?

I'm hoping that we'll hear from the freak on this. Can it have anything to do with Estrogen?

I love dairy, and think that there are good dairy choices, whether cutting or bulking. I'll check with my nutritionist and find out why he pulls it off my chart ever 2 weeks.
