Oatmeal is my favorite source of soluble but fruit, beans, and metamucil are other examples. (soluble fiber helps to maintain blood sugar and control insulin).

Insoluble increases nutrient absorption by cleaning the intestines. Vegetables are insoluble.

Navy beans cooked are the best source of fiber at 9.5 grams per 1/2 cup. They are awesome to.

100% whole wheat products with no sugar or high fructose corn syrup....hi fiber cereal..read the breakdown of carbs..some have 14 g fiber to 60 calories some have 3 g fiber to 300 calories..(cause it's full or sugar) you need 50 g fiber per dy but not all in one meal or you will get bloated.....
