Hey guys, Ive been reading these forums for a few years now, but decided to take it seriously lately. Story cut short, when I left college I put on mebe 10kgs of fat (22 pounds) in a 6-8 month period, and was close on hitting that obese stage. So I started dieting (the BB'er way :P) for a better life, seeing as I had the know-how.

My diet was going well for the first month or so, and then I started getting really bloated, to the point of having to skip gym days. I was just wondering if you guys had any remedies for such instances, cos I cant take skipping cardio/weight days just cos Im feeling really rubbish all the time. You guys wouldnt happen to have any remedies for such an occurence? The signs are: feeling like a baloon, and a really swolen stomach.

I eat lotsa green beans (my stable veg), some fruit and fruit juice (in the morning) and alot of chicken and lean red meat. I dont eat alot of carbs (close to nonexistant, tho I have a high carb and hi fat day every 3-4 days), and very little fat too.

I tried increasing carbs for two additional days, and eating less protein, but neither had much of an affect on the problem. I take my multivitamins and all that too...

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

You should post a detailed version of your diet. Bloating is probably from what your eating. And what are you using in terms of supplements? And how is your salt intake?

Okie dokie. Well my diet is as follows:

Meal 1: 6 Egg whites (with some herbal salt on top) with orange juice and an apple
Meal 2: 2 Chicken breasts and green beans
Meal 3: 2 Chicken breasts and green beans
Meal 4 (pre workout): Protein shake
Meal 5 (post workout): Chicken and green beans or another Protein shake
Meal 6: Lean meat of some sort, and brocolli/colliflower/carrots/whatever else we have at home.
Meal 7 (optional): Mebe a smaller version of one of my previous meals, or some fat free milk or somming for at least an hour before bed.

I take a multivitamin for sports, and some other multivitamin called Supradyn Recharge. Both have the basic necessities. I also drink at least 3-4 litres of water a day.

On a high carb, high fat day, Ill just replace the first 1 or two meals with a combination of peanut butter, almonds, oats, raisins, and honey. Mebe a cheat meal such as spare ribs or somming fit in somewhere if Ive lost alot in the last week.

Ive been on this diet for about 2 1/2 months now, but it only really started playing up in the last 1-1.5 months.

THanks for the help :)
