Hey guys-

Summer is upon us, fresh fruit should be on its way soon at good prices and quality, and I wanted to make a thread where we could talk about our favorite fruits and how to incoporate them into our diets. Unfortunately, I'm not that much of an expert on fruit and nutrition, although I do know a shitload about fruit growing and etc. cause I work in a fruit market come july.

Anyhow, I love watermelon blueberries, strawberries, and peaches.....corn too, but that's kinda veggie.

thought somebody may want to break down some fruits and what's good aobut them, when to eat them etc.

Straberries, blueberries, alot of berries are a good source of carbs, apples, pears, a bunch of these fruits have a low rating on the glycemic load index.

For the guys that have a sugar craving its great because fruits all taste really sweet.

so eating say a pint or two of strawberries after dinner is beneficial or counterproductive?
