First off i wanna say that I know i have made a lot of threads in the past few days, and I'm sorry for the ambush of questions, especially to LBJ, but i'm changing some stuff with my workouts so I have new questions....

Anyways-
My last meal of the night is dinner, then i have what i call a "nightsnack" Dinner has about 45-50 grams of carbs, my night snack has only about 12g of Carbs (30 protein), and the casein before bed has 6g Carbs (40 something protein). My question is do I need more carbs after dinner or is it better to keep low like I have now? I wanna bulk a little bit, but i dont wanna eat too many carbs and just have them go to fat.

The patience and advice is much appreciated, and I'll return the favor one day.

I recently started carb cycling and its been working great for me in cutting bf while still making strength gains and not losing muscle mass.

On my high carb days, I will eat carbs all the way until my pre-sleep snack at 11pm which is usually 60 grams of carbs (oatmeal) and casein protein.

On my low carb days, I dont eat carbs past dinner at 8pm.

I guess it really depends on what your main goals are with lifting and your body.

elaborate more if you could. like how often you do that and is 60 g of carbs your normal serving of carbs per meal?

other than my shake (TKE monster food) i dont eat no other carbs 2 hrs before bed...my shake will have enough complex carbs to fuel my growth whilst sleeping...on most days i weight train twice some sessions being in the evening, so this is what i normally do...

Despo,
I am currently doing what Bstan is doing. Cycling carbs is a great way to shred BF% while lifting decently heavy and keeping nice mass on. I usually eat 1 or 2 days high carbs but keep the others low. Before bed (2 hours before usually) I eat no carbs at all. This is on low carb days. On higher carb days I keep eating carbs, although they are on the low side as my last meal before bed and hour or so. Such as a piece of low fat cheese or a half of a banana. I usually eat most of my carbs in the morning, (not much) usually just a protein shake before cardio with THE BURN from Fizogen, and then before and after workouts I eat some as well. Examples are a medium banana, a gatorade (32oz), a half of a bagel etc.....Sometimes on higher carb days I squeeze in a sweet potato or some brown rice. I hope this helps SOME dude. Good luck with the diet. Remember this is the MOST important aspect of training no matter what anyone tells you. Someone told me to shred the fat and I will see results, and let me tell you......since I've shredded down to 199/202lbs (fluctuating) I've felt better AND look great (according to me haha) Good luck brotha By the way, I have a great diet for you to follow for shredding fat and keep lean mass if you want me to send it to you in an email. I got it out of a muscle mag named Reps I think. Sorry for the long response, but like I said, good luck and I hope this helps!

yeah, i'm gunna save all this stuff for when i do start cutting.

i'm kinda new to the idea of cutting and bulking because i used to bulk all spring, then naturally end up cutting with football and wrestling. right now i've been bulking since january, probably going to keep bulking for a while more too.

what's ur schedule look like in terms of bulking/cutting. how many months do you spend doing each, and how many weeks does it take to cut completely.
