Right now im in the process of bulking. After lifting i drink a protein shake (100% whey) and thats it, i kno i should be gettin in the carbs also, so what else should i take after the gym? Is there anything i could maybe mix with the protein that has carbs? What do you guys recommend?

Some good stuff in the form of food is white rice, white potatoes or rice cakes, those quaker oats rice cakes. And in the form of liquid like a cranberry juice or a grape juice would be good. Any decent portion of one of those would be good.

you can buy other shakes that have better stuff in them..sounds like a lot of money but i take 3 diff kinds of shakes and in the long run its cheaper and lasts longer

In term of whole grains, Brown rice is definitely the preferred choice because it's easily digested by our body as compared to other grain products (eg: wheat) and some people are allergic to wheat without knowing it (Gluten intolerant ) . As we all know , there are two main types of rice , namely the brown rice and white rice .The milling process that removes the bran layer of brown rice is what making the shiny and beautiful white rice. Buy the book nutrient timing. It'll tell you everything you everwanted and needed to know about how to eat, and more importantly when to eat what, at what times. It's geared to serious athletes and bodybuilders. It was done by two scientists and their universities...good shit people.
