hey i just had a thought...i know you are supposed to mix creatine with juice to make it absorb faster. however, what about just putting the unflavored creatine mono directly into your whey after workout? any thoughts.

Well the reason your supposed to drink it with juice is because of the sugar in the juice for that nice litle insuline boost. I mix my creatine with my protein for convienence, I mix it all in the same 13.5 ounce bottle so I can shake it in the gym.

But along with that I either drink juice or eat something in the form of a complex carb. Which for me is usually white rice.

Ya can just mix in creatine, protein, and some sugar in the shake to make it easy. Or just protein and creatine and some juice right after for the spike in insuilin

White rice is a simple carb but is fine post work-out. Brown rice is complex and should be used throughout the day. Brown rice is also a good source of fiber viethulk.

i have always put my creatine in my protein with a little sugar, or have a glass of juice afterwards, i dont like taking my creatine with juice because right now im taking creatine ester and it was a VERY strong taste so the shake neutralizes it

thanks guys...yeah i was just wondering i figured id get those answers. its tough because im just trying to keep the carbs down so juice does not help right after (apple)...because im cutting.

all in all a little glucose with your post work out creatine isnt going to cause you to gain fat
