Anyone have any suggestions one protein bars that wont leave me with a gut and an empty wallet that taste somewhat enjoyable??

I don't see the point of them. If you can eat a protein bar then why not just eat normal food.

my reasons to eat them...
time is of the essence (inbetween meetings, rushing out the door, meal time happens during a 6 hour plane flight)
travel ease (no need to pack extra baggage witha cooler)

my reasons not to eat them...
sugar alcohol makes me fart like whoa!


unfortunately that 1 reason to not eat them stops from ever eating them... look into MRPs if you need somethin quick and easy. ON makes great tasting ones and so does Natures Best (IsoPure)

Agree with most the guys they are an expensive source of protein, but sumtimes they aint enough hours in day to be constantly making food! Not sure if you can get them in America but best in England is - Peak Body, pro 50 bar! have a look on sshealthfoods.co.uk
