Sorry but that was really bugging me. I reckon Optimum Nitrition is the best value PROTEIN ( ). Get a big dirty 10lbs bag it will last you ages. I got one for about 100 euro. Small tubs are a waste. I'm not sure do you mean tablespoons by tbs??? I wouldn't think in terms of that anyway. Start off by trying to get in 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight (a day that is). Try spilt it out over 6 or so meals. You also asked about protein bars in another thread....i personally think they're kind of pointless. I really hope your not a native english speaker because least then you'll have a genuine excuse for the mess above! (otherwise we're all fucked.)

Also take a look through previous threads...you'll probably find the answers to most questions there.

Man what I wouldn't give to be the owner of ON. Seems like everywhere you go, everyone says they're the best. They must make a killing off of us. :)

10lb bag for me lasts about 2 months. I always go Chocolate and mix it with skim milk.

You really want to know what the best protein is? I'll give you a hint...You won't find it in a plastic tub with fancy lettering , and won't find it shrink wrapped in aluminum with a chocolate exterior- the best protein comes from eating the muscles of other animals. Beef, chicken, Fish, and Pork (although, I'm not a fan of pork). You know what would happen if you replaced all of your luquid protein meals with real food? Nothing!!! Absolutely nothing. If that's the case then why would you waste money? For convienience? For taste? If you take bodybuilding seriously then you'll take your nutrition seriously and keep the powders as a supplement, not your base. A while back I had a nasty plateau that I couldn't break for the life of me and no matter what I tried in the gym I just could not break it. So then I went on a spartan diet with nothing but whole foods and guess what happened? KABLAZO!! I started to get bigger again, and stronger, and leaner. The secret to bodybuilding lies in the kitchen, not at GNC. You don't have to take my word for it, cause frankly I couldn't give a shit...but if you care about what looks back at you in the mirror, like I do...then you know what you have to do. So get it done.

This was brought up a few days ago in a different thread, but thanks for bringing it up here as well. Supplements are indeed meant to be just that, supplements. I hate when I see people asking which protein shakes or protein bars are best to use as a meal replacement. None of them are. They're a supplement, not a replacement. This is a common problem among most inexperienced bodybuilders.

the best protein is food, and thereafter u have to find out which supplement that works for u.. i was lucky and found something that worked for me right away.. i still dont know if there is anything better for me, but my MRM Massive Muscle Gainer Chocolate works good for me. and please no1 say: it is a muscle gainer, not a protein.. because it is protein, and i get over 50g of protein from there every day, and i am only taking half the dosis i should. the rest i get from food and milk.
