Interesting info:

Many bodybuilders still think that all fast-digesting carbs will make them fat. But honey has been shown to be a highly efficient source of carbohydrates for the restoration of muscle glycogen. Apparently, it digests quickly, yet ultimately does not radically spike insulin levels. That means it is an ideal pre- and posttraining carb source for bodybuilders who struggle to control bodyfat levels. Use honey before or after you work out. Try two tablespoons in a workout shake or added to toasted multi-grain bread. Honey also contains potent antioxidants, as well as nitric oxide (NO) components...

No, if ur not used to oatmeal then it proll will taste bad. Stick your oatmeal in the bowl add milk so that it comes to the same height in the bowl as the oatmeal (use ur head there) stick it in the microwave 3 mins or so then there u go! add a flavouring or something as it tastes kinda bland straight

There are several different kinds of honey which range from low-med to high gi. According to this report the low-med was good for before a workout and for endurance while the high gi was used to replenish muscle glycogen which makes sense.

I love honey, blueberry or forest honey. There is the light tinge of flavor from the area that the honey is cultivated in.
