im currently around 135 lbs and trying to bulk up some more. But my only problem is that i have cystic fibrosis which makes it extremely hard to put on weight like i want. I eat really good and always seem to be hungry, but the weight never really gets put on.

Im currently taking cytogainer for my gainer shakes and that seems to do the trick for filling me up good for breakfast and right before bed.

But i want to kno if there are any healthy foods that will really help me pack in the calories in large quantities so i can put some weight on.

Thanks!

Well, I have a lot of experience with CF, I grew up with family that have CF. This is the number one problem that people with CF have is a fluctuation in body weight. I would have to say increase your carbohydrate intake and fat intake. Also, you have to know how your body digests food also because I don't know if you have a problem digesting large amounts of food. Also, are you trying to get bulked up with working out, or just want to gain weight by eating? And keep up with the weight gainer, just watch the amount of sugar you take in because that will just turn to fat. Good Luck!

yea it is a real pain to gain weight with cf..and its good to know where you understand where im coming from.

i want to bulk up to get bigger..ive been lifting for a lil over a year seriously and have gotten good results...i just need to add more weight to get bigger in size and just to maintain my weight at a good amount...the weight gainer helps and i dont eat alot of sugary foods...

all i basically need is suggestions of foods to eat that will get me bigger.

i eat alot of carbs and protein but i need specific foods in order to gain more of what i want.

so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Well try to get more of a the stuff you already eat. Liquid calories would be the easiest to take in, so if you can drink a lot of milk a day then I think that would be a good start. 1 percent fat milk though.
