hey guys,

ive been trying to research this, and its probably been asked before, but what exactly is the point of having thousands more percent than your RDA in some vitamins? i mean, dont we just pee them out after our body has had its "fill"? are we that depleted in some vitamins that we need the extra 5000% to get us back to normal? any help would be awesome, thanks guys.

Mega doses of specific vitamins are need to correct deficiencies. Vitamins obtained from pills are only 15% absorbed (approx). Vitamins are best obtained from food, then just supplement with a general multi-vitamin.

thought so.
even for non-lifters would there be a large difference in RDI for people of different builds and sizes?

True but with the amount of food we eat we should be getting the nutrients we need from food without the need for animal pak.

Yes I agree that there is a need to take additional supplements as the deficiency of

those does matter a lot.We need to keep upgraded with the available resources and

then based on dosages specified must be taken as according.

LOL

My point was that you should not have any clinical deficiencies because of your food based diet. Mega doses are needed for people to reverse clinical deficiencies such as scurvy, osteomalacia, goiter, beriberi, etc...
