Anyone have a rough idea of how much protein is enough for each meal. I'm having about 5 meals a day and I weight 190 working out 4 to 5 days a week. I'm also doing 8 hard boiled egg whites for my first meal that's a good 35g right?
I think it depends on people. If you have strong stomach, 40 or 50g per meal is okay. I eat 6 -7 times a day, and each meal is about 25 to 30 g of protein, which gives me 170 or 180g of protein a day.
Egg whites are about 3g of protein,so you are actually getting about 24g of protein.
Im a naturally lean guy/ectomorph and ive always used 1.3g-1.8 grams of Pro per lb of bodyweight. since ive always had below 9% bf my whole life @ 185 i shoot for 300+/- grams pro. then divide that by how many meals you eat per day and thats your percent for each meal.
